Sajani Granquist

Background

Sajani Granquist is an experienced attorney and career development professional with a demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in the legal profession. Her work at Diversity Lab, where the OnRamp Fellowship was born, includes helping to spread the knowledge about its diversity initiatives and to encourage other law firms and legal departments to participate. 

As an Associate Director for the Career Development Office at the University of Miami School of Law, Sajani assisted law students and alumni with their professional and career development. In addition to serving as a career advisor, Sajani oversaw diversity-related professional development programs and initiatives for the law school. Prior to transitioning to her diversity-focused role, Sajani directed the law school’s Externship Program for 10 years.

Sajani began her career as a practicing lawyer with a focus in entertainment law at boutique law firms before transitioning into higher education and talent development. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, where she earned a B.S. in Public Relations. She received her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
