Are you ready to take the next step in your legal career? A growing boutique law firm is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded attorney interested in a flexible, part-time, remote opportunity with the potential for highly competitive compensation.
This role is ideal for attorneys looking to expand their practice, collaborate with an expanding legal team, and contribute to a dynamic, client-focused environment. You will have the opportunity to develop or grow your own book of business while supporting the firm’s current and future clients. Collaboration and teamwork are essential, as all attorneys are expected to contribute to serving all clients.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking part-time contractors with experience in Big Law and/or large corporate legal departments. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of legal experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Digital Health, Telehealth, and Healthcare/Regulatory Law
- Expertise in areas like HIPAA and FDA regulations.
- Data Privacy
- Expertise in federal, state, and international privacy laws and regulations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, COPPA, Schrems II).
- Experience drafting/negotiating DPAs, privacy policies, DPIAs, data retention policies, WISPs, IRPs, and data security contract provisions.
- Ability to advise on privacy by design and data mapping.
- Technology Transactions and Commercial Contracts
- Experience in technology (e.g., SaaS, fintech, digital health/healthcare IT, AI, crypto).
- Biotech/pharma transactions (e.g., clinical trial agreements, MTAs, IP licensing).
- Product Counsel: In-house experience preferred.
- Additional Experience (a Plus): Employment law, General Counsel responsibilities, M&A, or Corporate law.
Position Details
This is a remote, contract position offering flexibility in your working hours, provided that client needs are met. While part-time hours are the focus, there is potential for full-time work depending on client demand.
Requirements
You must have a J.D. degree with at least 5 years of experience and an active bar membership in the state where you reside.
